I actually think this is better than what's proposed here simply based on the fact that it has decent massing and isn't trying to be anything more than housing. What's proposed here is disastrous in every sense of the word.
 
Maybe, but when there's project like this planned in an area where you know there's an oddly large parcel of vacant land like that in an established built-up area I'd tend to assume X marks the spot.

Yes. They are planning to demolish the buildings. The land to the east is a separate parcel.

The City of Toronto has a report on this Vaughan Planning application on the agenda of next week's Planning and Housing Ctte.


Simply put, the City isn't keen on it..........and is expressing that to Vaughan in a Request for Direction Report which would allow the City to be an interested party should this end up before the OLT.
