The Dalhousie side is almost done! They’re finally opening the sidewalk there.

Unsafe in what way? I take long walks at night - including through this part of town. Nothing stands out in terms of safety.

Dalhousie is beginning to feel like an urban street. I know that there is retail up near Dundas but not sure about the remainder. The lights and animation of this completed entrance will help! Maybe now Mast Coffee can put out a few tables and chairs on their Dalhousie side?!
I do know that there is a small clinic/pharmacy that helps those struggling with an entrance off Dalhousie. That may attract types that others are wary of at night. But the entire dynamic of both Dalhousie and Mutual will change over the summer as residents begin moving into the towers. Both street frontages are highly transparent, have numerous openings and house activities that will be busy late into the night.

On the Church St side, they have now brought back this office tenant signage that was there before the demolition. The lobby entrance from Church is looking pretty bleak with these awkward “doors” for ventilation.

Unfortunately this great retail spot will be taken up by a dental office
