As a side note, The Tulip is still holding it down. My grandfather's first job in Canada was at that restaurant back in the day.

Looks like I jinxed it. The Tulip next doors at 1606 Queen St E has closed down due to a rent hike.

Restaurant says they can’t keep running the business after they learned their lease agreement had changed.
