I'm not sure why you and many other UT users seem to be under the impression that other large cities around the world all have amazing architecture, and that they wouldn't dare ever build something with "green-blue glass". Most buildings built in other cities around the world are not masterpieces of architecture, despite what you seem to think. Just reminds me how Toronto gets insulted at every turn, but I guess the grass really is greener on the other side.

No one has once proclaimed that other cities were full of architectural masterpieces. Point me to that post and you may have a point.

I think in this area this is pretty much par for the course. And I don't mind it at all. This area of Toronto has a very different feel from anywhere else in the city.

Agreed. I don't think I'd want to live here per se, but the area functions as was intended and it does feel different (in a good way) than most other intersections in the City.

Me too. I'd be worried about over-AirBnB-ification, but I really like it down here. It's really a 21st century sub-city.
