Can't say that I'm a fan of the brick being used so far on the podium. The renderings also indicate a darker clad tower, so black on brown doesn't exactly create the most appealing combination.
 
Still need to see more of it to pass a proper judgement, but based on that first piece of cladding it's not too bad.
The two outside upper lights look like they might be operable windows… that would be good. I'd still have preferred undivided lights for the inside windows though, that mullion's not really necessary, only a cost-curbing device.

I think black windows are always a good option especially for mid range buildings. This doesn't look too bad. Now imagine if it was typical grey. Would look much worse. A black exterior is always striking IMO.
