I actually really liked the original design by SvN. Shame that mostly likely won't come to fruition, but that's the reality with these zone and flip type property moves.

Pretty much sums of the state of the "development" market - this is certainly more thoughtful than most but it's still practically rent seeking.

In a fantasy world, I would give the prospecting owners a healthy discount if they did...

New renderings are updated in the database! There is much project information updated in the description. The total unit count changed from 287 units to 220 units. The total parking space decreased from 66 parking spaces to 56 parking spaces. The total storey count decreased from 42 storeys to 36 storeys. Finally, the total building height reduced from 145.08m to 120.0m.

The renderings are taken from the architectural plan via Rezoning Submission:

ah, there's that toronto touch we all know and love. it's that little something less

Though honestly the original renders are BS - you don't get glazing like that for a residential project in this town - not even deluxe ones. And to be frank, SvN isn't a firm with an output like that either.

Oh, absolutely – I hadn't seen this thread earlier and was scrolling down from the top of this page, thinking "well, that's an obvious fiction, let's see what'll actually get proposed... oh."
