I was in fakeville this evening. I'll say this about the place..... the honies are fine.

About those honies.....

All I can say is that there is too much burnt skin, botox faces and bleached blonde hair all wrapped in so much attitude that it almost overloads the senses. Especially the middle-aged lady I passed today who looked beyond crispy fried. Scary stuff.
 
Just walk a little west on Bloor and you'll find all the youth you desire.
 
Yeah, money certainly can make you into a tanned sculpted Yorkville beauty...

Ouch. Back to Cobblestones, please! I always wondered why Yorkville didn't brick it's streets like they did on a stretch of nearby St. Nicholas (which always seems immaculate). It would certainly help identify the area as distinct, and would have the tripping and dress benefits so kindly noted earlier.

I brought a friend from Vancouver to see the park in Yorkville and he was very impressed with it. It can be very charming on the right day.
