Sad that developers are so cheap in TO they won't pay for shadow box spandrel units. This backpainted crap has to stop, it's honestly lowering the bar of condo architecture in this city dramatically with each year. May as well not use glazing at all if you're going to allow your elevations to be painted with solid panels.

Majority of the purchasers will never step foot in the building. They look at $ per square foot and maintenance fees. They don't really care about the other stuff.
 
I keep waiting to see if have started too ! Every time I turn to this blog. Wondering if the curtain wall is going to make or break the look of this building !

Which, of course, is why we currently have the lowest vacancy rate for residential units Toronto has ever suffered. Go figure.
 
how so? lowest vacancy rate simply means that there aren't enough units on the market - The design of a tower doesn't change that.
