I think 42 is onto something with this megatall idea, but one must ask why Toronto doesnt try to reclaim its tallest freestanding tower title.

Not really trying to bump the tread, but the question belongs here.
Do you think they will try and bump up the height here, now that the Canadian Tire site has raised the heights for this corner? Seems like that would be a good idea for the owner/developer here, barring a shadow issue problem here. Though i don't think there would be much of one that isn't already covered by the other buildings to the north east.

It was 68 floors when first proposed in 2014.... maybe by the time they break ground they will be able to print a 150 storey building.
