soon you'll get to look at the reflections of the Lamborghini in the glass! then you can look at both at the same time lol.

but seriously, this is amazing cladding.

This and Sick Kids are the most exciting things going up in the city right now... This could (knock on wood) be one of those handful of buildings that really become iconic for a city... Was just in TO a few days ago and didn't get up and close to Ice (unlike Sick Kids), but wow that cladding pops...

I would put L-Tower on the top of your most exciting list, but that's just me

Took a walk around the site yesterday and got some more pics of the new cladding! I love how reflective it is, but it did make some angles a bit more difficult to shoot. Got some closeups as well.

Just biked past this about 1 hour ago, its actually looks even better in person ! The fact the panes of glass do not line up (i.e. they meet at an angle) isn't unique on its own, most curved buildings share this in common, the lack of a substantial mullion.

Actually in some ways the sharp angles between the panes is more interesting then curved glass like the above.

Seems like more of that hybrid window-wall / curtain-wall system that we're seeing now at Clear Spirit and possibly The King East and the north facade of L Tower. Obviously, the glazing at Sick Kids is superior but for a mid-priced condo development this is pretty damn good. Kudos to aA and the developers.

Window blinds won't make any difference to the glass reflectivity. It will probably cause glare but it will probably be instantaneous for drivers. Not a huge concern.
