The Wealth Report 2010 ranks Toronto as the 10th most important city for the wealthy

God, these city lists are so out of control. Just when you think they can't get any sillier.

I can see it now: "Mogadishu holds onto number one spot as the most important city for the extremely indigent". Oh, just wait, no one cares about the extremely indigent, probably won't happen.

Toronto dropped two spots in quality of life and one spot in knowledge and influence

The report appears to be using a lot of 2009 data, so indicators such as the recent rise of property prices , and the fact Toronto has rebounded from the economic downturn better than most, is not shown. As always, these kinds of reports are interesting, but with qualification. Still, Toronto is ranked 10th, - not too shabby.

Regardless of a small decline from last year, Toronto remains an exciting, vibrant city. We've got ample green space, making us very attractive, and of course we're THE hub for finance and transactions in Canada.

I had the chance to hear some Toronto love from television real estate personality Brad J. Lamb recently. For all the worry that we've had in recent times, he's put it well. Things are positive for Toronto now!
