No kidding. I suspect the hold up isn't Hooters, but the service center right behind it, as I take it that Hooters owns only the corner of the lot, and the service center owns the back end from John over to Adelaide.
 
I have to concur with everyone else: Hooters is an abomination. Bond\'s glass looks pretty nice, though.

I'm really hoping that with this development this area will start looking less junky. With it complete we'll be able to get a fresh look at how Adelaide has changed, minus all the hoarding and construction mess.

Maybe the houses to the west of this development could be freshened up one day...
 
Hooters aside, that's a brilliant pic, Red Mars... I was in town a few weeks ago, skulking around the nabe, and it looks really amazing... A really underrated few blocks, all around...
 
Will the Hooters qualify as heritage when that parking lot is finally developed? And will they have to facdectomize it into the podium?
