I heard of horror stories of cheap Chinatown tour operators who prey on the ignorant and offer trips to London and Paris for $200...of course it's London and Paris in Ontario, not the majestic metropolises we know and love.

Tai Pan Tours / Bus Tours???

taipan tours-don't go!!
I have had only one experience with tai pan tours and it was not good. Five of us took the bus up to Casino Rama for a concert.
We all met at the head office and took the bus from there. We asked if we could take a bottle of alcohol on the bus,showed it to them and they said 'no problem'. When we got to Rama, the bus driver had called ahead and had security waiting for us because we were drinking!!
We were all so embarrassed.
Afterwards, when speaking with Tai Pan management, they said sorry, there must of been some confusion. They have a strick policy of no alcohol on the bus. When I asked why they gave us permission then, the manager, Veronica I think, said 'sorry, and it is our 20 anniversary, please join us on the bus where it will be fun with trivia contests, etc.'
Totally, ignored the issue.
They want your business, they don't care how they get it and they don't care how they treat you.
Don't use them and don't recommend them, please!!
