Does anyone here have any thoughts on them? I am considering getting a subscription, being a fan of Baroque, but I've never been to a concert. Are there any particular seating areas at Trinity-St. Paul's that are to be avoided?

Anywhere downstairs is okay, but avoid being on the wings of the U-shaped balcony too close to the stage - because you'll have your head turned in one direction all the time.

At St. Paul's try to get seats in the centre of the first row of the balcony. They are the best in the house and I kept them for a few years. Having said that, they are ( or were) hard wooden pews and wrecked havoc on my butt and spine, hence I no longer have them. But never mind, the music is worth it, even when it 38C degrees inside.
