This totally would be alleviated if the TTC extended the 172 further down Cherry at all times.

I just looked up 172 - That is basically the 72A (the A half of the route) but on weekends only to compliment the weekday access. The walk to T&T from that stop on Commissioners - is about the average distance of one bus stop in the city (i.e. a very short walk). IF the sidewalks and roads are kept clear of show - then this access is actually fairly good. IF the sidewalks are not cleared - then having it go that one extra stop into the parking area would be great. I am reasonably happy with that route, since it is just around the corner from where I work. Going home I can either go back, or just take a taxi (est. $10) to go direct (bypassing bus and subway up to church/dundas area).

I still think that they should have the 172 do exactly the same route as 72A to give a connection to Pape (although that section would not be of interest to me).

I was there and found the "Japanese Crispy Seaweed" or "Tao Kae Noi" (I picked up the Original Flavour ones). They look like a Japanese snack, but they are actually from Thailand (don't know if it is sold/marketted for Japan). It is basically Japanese Seaweed (for rice balls, and rolls etc.) deep fried in Palm Oil.

I was introduced to them when I stopped in Singapore to visit a friend, and it is a delicious snack.

I spent the morning introducing it to people around me - and the consensus is - got to go and pickup more
