Sunday noise ban sought

AoD, yes the muscle cars or pretend muscle cars are an aural blight. The ones that bother me the most are those shitty honda civics with the modified exhaust. Do any of you know if there are any provisions under the Highway Traffic Act or other legislation that deals with noisy exhaust? I want to call the police on a local frequent offender but I'm sure the police will decline to intervene unless I can point out the nature of the offence.

Living right downtown, I am accustomed to weekend partiers and drunks walking along the street yelling and screaming. I can tolerate that because it's rarely prolonged.

What I can't bear is the Harleys. You can hear them blocks away. I find them more irritating than emergency vehicle sirens. The amount of noise they generate is far beyond reasonable. It's made me wonder if some kind of ban would be possible...

Absolutely. I live on Hurontario and the constant sirens to and from both the hospital and fire department HQ only a few blocks away don't bother me at all in comparison to the bikers at 2 am on a weekday.
