steveve's Toronto city model

lol! ty ^^^,
Richmond-Adelaide 1 was built yesterday as well as some other smaller buildings on that block... Today I'll finish up Oxford Tower, and some fillers,

Update August 22, 2011:

Oxford Tower/Richmond Adelaide 1 are complete.... I'll hold off on building the Richmond Adelaide III complex thing, because the proposal is in early stages:
Yes... this thing:

Anyway, the plan is to build a bit of the cloud gardens block, then proceed to building the Hilton block,

lol! well, i only have the patience because i want to see this thing built.... building this isn't exactly fun, to me it's more about the end result :)

Update August 23, 2011:
Hilton Block as well as the block directly south are complete, I'll save Shangri-la until i have the rest of York street built to Front,

Watching this get built is more exciting than watching the progress of some certain real life towers in the city getting built!

lol ^^^

Update August 24, 2011:
As you can see, the Shangri-la block is ready to be built, however, i really really need to build Brookfield Place, I've been ignoring it/avoiding it for quite some time.... Not sure which one will be built next,

Brookfield Place II (aka Bay-Wellington tower) is built, (as well as the podium, which, is half complete in this photo).... next up is probably Shangri-la :)!

Wonderful progression steveve. I look forward to future changes.

Fantastic stuff steveve. If the two are both to the same scale, could you take a picture of the WTC model beside the TO model? It would be great to see how Toronto's downtown stacks up against NYC's.

Impressive indeed.
It's fantastic. You could go to City Hall and talk to them about fixing up the dingy and dated model on display there (yours is more accurate and more detailed and the cardboard and other materials also have more character).
Definitely. I was at City Hall on Saturday morning and noted the model in the lobby. And then I thought of this place. :)

First, and Update as of August 31, 2011... yes, September = school,

And photos comparing the old and new World Trade Centers to TO. NOTE: the scale of the World Trade Center models is slightly smaller than that of TO's. So yes, these towers are slightly bigger than they already shown in these photos. (a little under 1/2cm taller, not a huge difference, but still, HUGE!)
*So yeah, just picture the Manhattan buildings a wee bit taller than they are in photo... yes, they're HUGE!
