It's funny, Steveve, building a model like this is sort of like buying a computer, it gets obsolete the second it's done. Amazing the way Toronto is morphing these days. 1-7 Yonge?

with those changes this model is excellent!
Just curious: Has anything been done with the Toronto model in the lobby of
City Hall and have you been called to "rescue" it?

no idea. and im definitely not rescuing it lol. Though i'm sure they're working on something, it just may not be at top of the to-do list right now
and ya, it's ridiculously hard keeping up with all the developments in the city. That's basically why i haven't built block by block and why there's so many empty gaps throughout. I never like to build out low-rise blocks around prime streets because future-developments could be right around the corner. (prime example being Yonge Street in between College and Bloor).
It'll get a lot easier though as the model progresses as there are certain city blocks that are (for the most part) development proof/developed.
*and yes, a massing model for 1-7 Yonge is in the works

It would be great if you could get this 3D printed. The price tag would be expensive, but it would make the model look even better and last longer. It can even be printed in colour1
