St. Patrick's Day is around the corner, and the Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport hotel and its new live music lounge, the Royal Crowne Lounge, are in search of Toronto's Best Garden Gnome.
Good-looking, talented and otherwise exceptional gnomes must submit a snapshot and a two-sentence plea explaining why he or she is undoubtedly the most incredible gnome in this great city to alyssa@duetpublicrelations.com.
Judging will take place at the Royal Crowne Lounge's "Green With Envy" St. Paddy's Day event on March 12th and 13th. Gnomes please arrive with your owners between 9:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. (doors open at 9:00 p.m.).
Following careful consideration, an Irish panel will select one winner each night. The winning gnomes will receive a gourmet four-course dinner for themselves, their owners and a lucky guest at the Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport hotel's La Brasserie restaurant, led by award-winning, Food Network-featured chef Tony Fernandes.
Since every gnome is noble, even losing gnomes (and their owners) will enjoy green beer and great live music by the renowned Craig Ruhnke Band all night.
Entry to the "Green With Envy" event is free for people and gnomes. Humans dressed as gnomes will not be considered. Injured, broken, dejected and forgotten gnomes are encouraged to apply.
