Sometime after I arrived in this city, I was most disappointed when I finally got around to walking *up* St. George, and realised that you could see into the yard from the driveway. And, uh, from those skyscrapers next-door.

The wall was so impressive that I seriously envisioned octogenarian tycoons crouched on the other side, with their aides-de-camp and oxygen tanks, withering in the sunlight, exchanging small pieces of British Columbia amongst themselves, or maybe just going about the business of dying, either way, secure in their privacy.
