From the SPACING Wire regarding tonight's party...

As usual, Spacing is throwing a release party to celebrate the new issue. Come out to the Canadian Corps hall in the Bathurst and King neighbourhood (some of you may have been to our party there back on a sweaty September 2008 night). We'll have DJs, a handful of fun games and (possibly) some door prizes. Rannie Turingan of photojunkie.ca will be there taking portraits of attendees. Also, Track Meet, the DJs from our previous three release parties, will be the music selectors for the night. Check out their Facebook group:

And most importantly, we'll have both floors, so you can chill out playing pool in the basement or dance you booty off upstairs.

$10 cover includes magazine. $5 for subscribers.

had a good time as always. although it seemed a lot emptier than last time that it was held at the legion.

merch table was a bit slow too. however, it was great seeing the mayor and a couple of councellors come by to have a drink and socialize after work.

yeah i was helping out setting up the place before and worked the merch table a bit. don't have any pics though, didn't bring my camera.

Other than a token pre-party magazine-pickup-and-good-will stopover, it was the first Spacing party I bailed on--but for personal reasons: the computer maintenance issues that have kept me offline for the past week...
