They seems to be readying the concrete pad for the crane. At least that's what I imagine the pit at the west end of the excavation surrounded by a fence with ladders descending into it is for. The ramp was also moved to the north side of the excavation to make way for the pit.

I think he means just starting from the ground, or right when the crane is first put up. and Telus RBC and bay adelaide are all topped out. Also what is the fifth one??

If you're going to count things like Corus and MLS you may as well include some of the smaller projects going on around the city like First Meadowvale, which is a comparable size

With all these downtown office projects it is hard to accept the idea that Toronto is becoming a "bedroom community".
