This is a historic factory from WW2 that has been partially rehabilitated as a cultural centre. Located on Lakeshore East in Mississauga it is adjacent the enourmous Lakeview development now under construction. Now there are plans to renovate the remaining unused section.
I am posting this in anticipation to going there on the weekend but wanted to see if anyone from Mississauga knew more about this facility. I think that it is worthy of mentioning because a lot of GTA arts festivals use it such as the Biennale and others. Also it is near the mouth of the Etobicoke Creek and Humber College’s Lakeshore Campus as well as Port Credit to the west.

The Lakeview community has had a strong industrial and military presence, playing a significant role in Canada's history from the early 1800s. The Small Arms Inspection Building is the last remaining building on the site dating from the 1940s."
