I have been watching this project for some time, waiting and hoping that the aluminum siding on the main sanctuary, worthy of a cheap garden shed from 1974, is covered up with something of interest and of quality. The pictures hardly capture how awful it looks (but it gives you some idea).
It would be a shame if this house of worship ends up clad in this bland, cheap and aesthetically drab (and industrial) material, instead of something that reflects its 'spiritual' and 'higher' calling.
The lights are there already, at the top of the (admittedly very ugly) metal framework.Looking at these photos, you can see that they will be putting glass up and it seems that it will be illuminated from behind.
