One of my friends went between 400 and 500 pounds his entire adult life. He died last year at 47 years old, of a heart attack.
Now, I am nowhere near that, but enough that I could stand to lose some.

I remember the kids in high school who listened to Gino beats. They wore Adidas track suits and always walked fast like they had somewhere important to go.
I am a fat person too and watching Rob Ford's health scare has made me rethink my lifestyle choices.

Each cycle is 3 days of treatment and then 18 days off. They want at least 2 full cycles before they scan again, around 6 weeks is my guess.
The courage takes to reach out is never misspent. There are online communities for the shy. But the human component at a meeting is irreplaceable. Good luck to you both.
