Richmond Hill: The City Above Toronto

Now that I am starting to get some time freed up, it's time that I start to posted some pictures that i've had on my computer since last summer but never got around to posting.

First up is Richmond Hill. I took these pics on a ridiculously hot June afternoon last summer. 100% of these pics were taken along yonge street and as you can tell, the pedestrian life is quite non-existant...at least when I was there. I was suprised at the amount of middle eastern establishments along the commercial strip and and by the amount of large churches.

What would an Ontario town be without aluminum siding:

It's funny how there always seems to be a sex store or a strip to churches...I see this in London, Ontario all the time:

Yup, that's it....not much I will admit (the photos, not the town). But it was just too damn hot to walk around to take more photos...plus I had food in the car that I didn't want to turn bad. I'm sure there is more to this town, and I hope someone will post more pictures.

Thanks for the tour, TOTF... looks cute. Maybe they need more residential close to Yonge St to for more pedestrian traffic.

do you have any of residential hoods like Herritage Esates/Mill pond?

Looks respectable. More than I can say of the area of Richmond Hill I work in (16th & Leslie).
