This one should start to rise soon. The crane seems to have been completed.

21 October 2012: I finally checked out what all the hype was about here. Well I must say it's pretty sterile but slightly better than indoor malls--I like to get some fresh air and walk the dog. But overall, what a bore!

My eyes glazed over in a hurry....time to flee to (I have no idea where. :p)

I must say I do love the c.1950-1970s apartment buildings across the street. Also it's quite a bit better than MCC or SCC.

I was back up at the Shops at Don Mills on the weekend, and thought that I'd shoot all of the condo developments up here, whether completed, under construction, in sales, or proposed. This one, Reflections, was the first of the condos here. A brand new build, it's been open for around three years now.

What I hadn't noticed before were the patterns impressed into the precast on the north side. Meant to reflect the area's 60s vibe… they look great!

The tower is pretty good (love the pattern on the panels) but the base is rather heavy-feeling and dull. Should have made the brick portions thinner and used maybe a black brick.

Are those trees all dead?

Without looking in person, I can't be certain; but I would say 'no'.

They appear to have buds on them when you zoom.

Lots of trees aren't beginning to leaf out yet.

Oaks are just starting, and honey locust too.
