Nevermind, I had to go back and look at the render. I thought the gap on the North side of the tower gradually grew wider as it went up, but now I see it doesn't. Just the floor plate gets a bit bigger on the East side.
as I mentioned awhile ago, I think RBC is going to have a great impact on the Front - University/York intersection, should really close in that west side nicely.
It is big and fat. Which might make it look a bit stumpy - even with its height. However, it is good for the downtown economy. I know banks were complaining about small floor-plates in many of the downtown towers (like scotia).
