QEW - Mississauga/Credit River Project

So I had a chance to visit this site today and took some photos. What I didn't realize is that I shot this site in early July but never posted the photos. This post will have those July shots and I'll post today's photos next.

looking quite close to completion overall. I'd guess a Spring 2025 completion.
I honestly would not be surprised if it were completed by November-December. I remember when the new, north bridge was built and I thought that they were like a month away from finishing it and the thing was open later that week!

Still have to finish the original lanes to put EB traffic on it, then complete the final median (barriers, sewers, lighting, signs, etc.). Maybe Summer/Fall 2025?

@Tim MacDonald photos shows it on the west side of the river that goes over the QEW
Thanks @drum118 , I was wondering about a bridge that crosses the Credit River. For some reason, I had it in my mind that they would be building a separate pedestrian and cyclist bridge below the main deck, although I might be confusing it with the proposal for a multi-use bridge below the Hogg's Hollow Bridge. Where is the crossing for pedestrians/cyclists supposed to be for this project? On the main deck south side?

I believe that they are building that connection, yes. It is buried right under the bridge deck of the old structure however from what I recall so it would be hard to see.

I'm almost certain it is not there but will do a flight to see.

I don't recall seeing steel for it when I could get close to it. If it there, it hung from the main support as this would be a light structure to do after the fact.

Yea, it may be a "finishing touch" they do as from my understanding it is happening. Perhaps they are prioritizing the road component first and will install the bridge afterwards.
