Playing Tourguide This Weekend....

Echoing this sentiment. How could anyone not like the festival atmosphere, ample vendors slinging Greek and other world cuisine, as well as a steady supply of beer. All taking place on a pedestrian-transformed street, up in the vibrant west Danforth area. I also recommend Queen St E, out in the beaches neighbourhood, it's one of my favourite spots in Toronto. I love the quiant beach-side atmosphere, it reminds me of the east coast boardwalk towns in and around Cape Cod.

Did you end up dining at Czehoski? I'm curious, as I recently worked across the street at Coca (sister restaurant/same management) and occasionally Czeho's as well.

I enjoy it, but I can see why others might not like it. It gets so crowded you can barely move and a lot of the food is overpriced and overrated.

Yeah I'm not as big a fan of the atmosphere at Czehoski's, and it is overpriced. Coca is better overall, in my opinion.

When you say, "restaurants", you mean...

Richtree. Milestones... "Restaurants".

I did drag a few to Czehoski's and they loved it, so that worked.

Another set of cousins are set to arrive next week, and this group should be far more receptive.

They were going to go to Niagara Falls by bus, but I convinced them to rent a car and drive to Niagara On The Lake, and then down the parkway through Queenston.

...and if they're into wine, there are some wineries down there that are worth checking out too...

Let me know if you need any tips about those...
