Where is the $60.00 every Toronto vehicle owner pays every year to renew their license plate going? It should all be going towards further efficiency and automation of the TTC.

I'm a lot happer with the city getting the $60 tax, than my insurance company getting $2,000 to cover the car sat in my driveway while I'm taking transit.

Besides car ownership tax in T.O., is there any other auto-related taxes proposed?

Otherwise, A car for transit incentive would sound feasible.

Excellent question JDH. We should all be asking Council where it goes and if it's into general revenue, there's a problem.
