Still not sure how a 2-lane Park Lawn will work traffic wise, particularly if Road A is cut to 2 lanes (which I admit, does seem possible). The traffic volumes are huge today already and I don't see that dropping substantially, even with the new road network planned.
 
It seems that the City has completed the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment Study for the Park Lawn Lakeshore Transportation Master Plan.

PS - I continue to be disappointed that there is no enthusiasm for extending the bike trails northwards under the Queensway at Mimico Creek and attempting some connectivity to Bloor (which is itself about to see bike lanes) despite some excellent back road options that would keep bikes away from Prince Edward and Berry Road.

The plan to create better cycling on Park Lawn is fine, i suppose, except that it ends at the intersection with the Queensway - a very busy street - and doesn't propose any improvement on Park Lawn north of the Queensway. Just crossing the Queensway will remain a scary proposition.

There was a cyclist seriously injured in a collision on Stephen Drive not too long ago, it attracted very little attention. Suffice it to say that even the Humber River trail is not continuous all the way to Bloor.

The City has announced a further consultation meeting on June 19 under the Municipal Class EA for "Street A", which runs from the underside of the GO line to Lakeshore Blvd at the east end of the Christie Lands.
