Ugh....it's really doin' my head in! Will have to get ear plugs I suppose because I love my place!

Curtain your windows, one light and one heavy. If you wanna get a good night sleep, cover it with both. Wake up early for work/school, put the light one so your body's happier to get out of the mental purgatory that is an interrupted sleep.

The curtains should block the noise coming through your windows. That's all the useful advice I can offer.

I use a air purifier machine for "white noise" i work a lot of night shifts so i have sleep during the day, with buses and trucks zooming by about 20 feet from my window i needed something to block out the noise.
