It's not automatically an organic extension of Don Mills when Don Mills runs up to Beaver Creek...
If Sheppard is extended, Viva Green could conceivably still be useful connecting the subway with Seneca, a ginormous office park, downtown Markham, and beyond, but it could easily be rendered redundant (almost certainly killing future plans of upgrading to rail) by adding slightly express bus service to all the N/S routes that cross Steeles, especially Warden...but *only* if the double fare is removed.
McCowan is an obvious choice for at least a Rocket/Viva setup, but it's nowhere near Unionville or Markham.
