Miscellany Toronto Photographs: Then and Now

The Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association and Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum Harvards flying over the Yonge and Lawrence area this morning Nov 11 2010 11:11am headed SE towards downtown.

I think they were part of the Sunnybrook Remembrance Day ceremony. They flew over the hospital twice & the second time they did the missing man formation with the 4th plane splitting off alone.

November 13 addition.

Then. June 3 1952. 558 - 560 Jones Avenue.

Now. August 2010.

Ah, ol' slant-jaw Donny Donlands. Up there w/Jean Chretien and Kaley Cuoco in the wonky-mouth hall of fame

"The proof is the proof . . . " QUOTE Jean Chretien.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there is no way to dislodge a PM short of lack of confidence

with the party or by voting out the party in an election; there is no "impeachment process",

as in the U S of A.

J T

"This ice cream is good! says Donny Donlands"

That was some kind of sophisticated marketing they had back then.

Come to think of it, given what I've seen/remember of the Donny Donlands mascot, btw/his peculiar slanty mouth and hand gesture, it looked more like he was saying "This milk is sour!"

Dairy Gone!

Where was that?

Donlands Dairy is no longer there. Been gone for 30-40 years!
It was on Donlands, just below Cosburn.
I should do a 'Then & Now'
