I was just surfing around, and every car forum i go to, there's always somebody screwing up their grammar!

So just an FYI:

IT'S TIRE TREAD NOT TIRE THREAD

and

IT'S BRAKES NOT BREAKS

and

BUMPER NOT BUMBER

just putting that out there, no offense to anyone, just wanted the greater knowledge for everyone!

So shape up

thx

Yes, the masses are dumb and uneducated.
Most people in Canada probably also spell centre as center.

That's because Americans spell it center, and all Canadians are hypnotized by American media. I get so frustrated when people pronounce "Z" as "zee" instead of "zed"

I know that I end up using some American spellings quite often. In my line of work i'm always having to change all my Canadian spelling for our American clients and it just becomes a habit.

Miss Spelling is proper, though. Tori would prefer it that way.

Am I right in thinking that "colour" is spelt properly in Canada? "Color" just doesn't look right to me. I know it isn't technically a misspelling, but it does annoy me. :)
