Now it appears that Flagg's Follies and D'Nation are trying to capitalize on the shooting in Orlando for there uses.

The Globe & Mail article:
University of Toronto under lockdown after report of armed man
Toronto police are searching the University of Toronto campus for a masked man dressed in all black after they received two calls on Monday morning about suspicious activity, including a report of a man with a gun, Toronto police chief Mark Saunders said.

So, for the people who dislike Tory, who would you have wanted to win instead? I am ruling out anyone other than Ford or Chow, as they had no chance of winning.

Ford: he's a massive nitwit, but council would be less receptive to his bullshit.

Tory: he's a smaller nitwit, but clearly cares more about his own career than responsible governance, and council eats up his bullshit like its ice cream (and there's a lot of it).

Which is the lesser evil? I still say Tory, but both are poor choices for mayor.

All I can hope for is that Tory is unceremoniously turfed in 2018. Toronto deserves better than this.

Doug Ford would make bad decisions, but he would also continue the media circus people had long tired of. Tory makes bad decisions too, but has no personal scandals or drama. Pick your poison...

Someone should remind Flagg's Follies and D'Nation that the "Scarborough Subway" is the legacy of Robbie and that all costs are no different than if Robbie was still mayor. Now I remember stating over and over again, among a few others, that the estimates were underestimated by at least 1 BILLION in Ford terms.

With all this disgruntlement in the air, it's a wonder nobody's tried to start a Scarborough-separatist movement. Then maybe they can elect Doug Ford as their own mayor and start building that subway system they so richly need, etc etc
