I've been reading the forums for a while. I'm amazed at the sophistication of a few forum members.
I wanted to get your take on issues with condo investing for a future show of Inside Toronto Real Estate on Rogers TV. Please contact me if you think you have something you would like to explore further on the show (you can even be a guest for an upcoming episode - I'd love to have someone who can contribute something meaningful rather than just pump their own tires on TV.

--Location
--Deposit Terms?
--Benefits (free maintenance, right to assign etc)

What legal issues should people look out for?
--I've been reading lots of horror stories feeling cheated by developers. Please share them
What experiences can you share when having your PDI?
How was your closing?
--Did you get hit with unexpected fees?
--Did you assign it before closing?
How was your occupancy
--How was your after sale service?
--Who surprised you with great service (not just bad stuff)
--How would you rate your property management company?
