The rules of HBP withdrawal are:
1. The withdrawal has to be made in the same year.
2. Buy or build home home before October 1 following the year of withdrawal.
My question is how about if your construction condo will not be finished until 2 or 3 years later? does it mean I'm not eligible for HBP withdrawal?
Or, as long as I enter the purchase agreement before October 1 following the year of withdrawal, it will be considered for HBP withdrawal?
My other question is about the repayment which you have to make on the 2nd year of the year after the year of the withdrawal.
If your condo is not finish yet, can you postpone the repayment until the condo is finsihed?
