This is really cool but as ladyscraper very accurately points out, it's what we see, smell, hear and feel from the street that really matters as that is what forms the true city, not from 2000' above.

Most of what I looked at in those panaramas weren't the skyscrapers but rather the really neat spaces like Ryerson's courtyard or the space around the Metropolitan Church (for example). I couldn't care less about how our skyline looks. In fact I think it says a lot when someone is obsessed with skylines.
