Heritage Buildings that have been incorporated into new buildings

9 Temperance Street is an interesting building in that it was torn down for the Bay-Adelaide Centre; then entirely reconstituted. By 'building' I mean not the facade; the entire building.

The stuff I learn from you people.

But, truly, sometimes "it is necessary to destroy the building in order to save it".
 
Though even Aikenhead was a skin-deep affair--it's just that it was applied to a freestanding building, not pasted onto something bigger. (As such, perhaps transitional en route to today's Bishop's Block way of doing things.)
