Don't know how I missed these but that first one, Hockey in suburbia, is achingly gorgeous. I'm going to say it... it's the epitome of suburban Canadiana. No matter what part of this country you live in, where your grandparents came from, or which language you speak, that picture is YOU.
I was going to ask "hey, is that the Canary Restaurant"? Then I noticed that's what you said in the quote. What happened to all the wonderful ivy that used to be on the building? It made an amazing infrared shot, the blazing white leaves against the dark brick...
