I noticed two or three of the new GO cab cars sitting at Willowbrook this evening. Sadly due to a mixup with my phone I lost the pictures I took, but they looked great. Hope we get to see them in service soon...

I noticed in one of the Facebook railfan groups someone saying the new cab car would be running tomorrow: "New cab car leaves Willowbrook Wed am to go to Oshawa at about 5am. Leaves Oshawa at 6:10. Union at 7:11. Then Lakeshore W."

Last week I was on a LSW train that was all new livery except the cab car. I suspect that set will get the first.

I believe there is 4/5 in the yard now. 4 to be in service this month.

I noticed today on the ground of in some narrow platform areas at Union there are decals that say "NO STANDING ZONE"

I guess this is a response to the death incident a few months ago.

Last week I was on a LSW train that was all new livery except the cab car. I suspect that set will get the first.

Of course. A show train. I'll bet that will be the train used in all future Del Duca photo-ops.

Don't forget the ribbon cutting for GO Transit parking lots! (Yes, the Liberal government had press conferences and ribbon cuttings for new or expanded GO parking lots, billing them as transit improvements.)

I'm on that train now and it still has the old style cab, so if a new one went into service this morning it's on another train.
