Just because nothing has been said publicly doesn't mean that nothing is going on.

They are being used in simulated service almost every day, and have been for the past year.

From the result of what the TTC expected with those buses, I doubt that any Metrolinx agency will be getting BYD's anytime soon.

The ones he’s referring to are two buses built by Alexander Dennis (with Proterra technology). GO still plans to put them in service.

BC Transit took delivery of more E500s last year. They’ll probably get more if they decide to replace the older double deckers when the time comes. Vancouver also took delivery of more for their express routes.

Las Vegas got a recent order and will probably order more to replace their older double deckers.

If the two electric E500s Foothill Transit got work out, they may also get more.
 
Something to note. The MPXpress range of locomotives (MP36s, MP40s, and MP54s) are no longer being listed on the Wabtec site. It is likely now that the new order of diesel locomotives will be a different model.

The only models that are readily available are the Siemens Charger, the EMD F125, and the MP54AC if it is still available.

Although maybe there’ll be a real curveball and Alstom will try offering something up so that when the electric locomotives arrive there will be atleast one common manufacturer between the electric and diesel power.

I seriously doubt the emd 125 will even be considered given it only has 1 customer after all these years
