GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

Are you guys able to just write down the location or brief description of the photos you're posting? I tried google mapping "Woods" and I still couldn't locate this project. I have no idea which project I'm looking at.
Looks like your post is the final post of 2024.

Wasn't intentional. I assure you. I can hear the fireworks going off, and I'm sitting here, still perplexed as to which GO train project I'm looking at.

EDIT: Also looking forward to photos of the New Year's Eve crush at Union station.

EDIT: Figured out it's Dundas & Logan.
LOL, I just did the exact same thing 😝

I was intrigued to research whether Woods Canada still had a manufacturing presence but it seems it is just a legacy building.

Happy New Year!

It's neat to see the (former?) Woods factory. My first sleeping bag as a kid was from Woods and it remains the most comfortable and warmest I've ever owned.

It has also been neat to see the incremental construction at Long Branch from the train each day.

Metrolinx crews are working at the Logan Avenue bridge to prepare for bridge girder installation scheduled for this month.

Construction will take place during the daytime from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is expected to finish by Saturday, January 4th.

This work is required to prepare for the Logan Avenue road closure and bridge girder installation scheduled for January 17th to 20th.

Read Metrolinx's construction notice for more details.
