Hey, I'm not considering all the variablesWhere are you putting the river?

It could just be lowered underneath the subway.
So at this junction it would be a station elevated above the GO Train platforms.
Details, details :->So it'll be over 100 feet in the air then? Seeing as how it will have to clear not only the Belleville Sub but also likely the 401 as well.

IMO if the Sheppard subway is extended it should be elevated along Sheppard anyways.

Still, wow. How many places in Toronto do you get 3 intersecting railroads?Just a little thing I whipped up:

Agincount may become Scarborough's central transit hub. Even if Line 4 reaches STC along with Line 2, having 2 GO RER lines intersecting in different directions will allow for choice and to make a good grid network. It's too bad that this all depends on freight companies allowing Metrolinx to operate on their corridors and better fare integration.Still, wow. How many places in Toronto do you get 3 intersecting railroads?
Assuming all corridors get frequent rapid transit, then that becomes "Holy Interchange Station, Batman!" opportunity. The rest are just pesky expensive engineering details.
Will be a while before it is worth it. But by 2050? Perhaps.
Maybe not this exact, precise aligment -- but something similar. Multiple different alignments appear to be possible that allows a 3-corridor interchange opportunity -- not necessarily fully stacked. But that would provide a good connection to Scarborough Town Centre from Midtown.
If all those Scarborough Town Centre parking lots becomes new developments and it all miraculously densifies thanks to the three billion dollar subway stop (alas) being installed -- then the business case could really make sense to have a triple-rail interchange eventually.

I don’t want to downplay Kennedy and Dundas West as they will be great interchange stations, but Agincourt will have 3 heavy rail lines going in completely different directions, while Kennedy and Dundas West really only go in 2 directions.Kennedy, if all goes according to plan, will have the Line 2 subway, Eglinton LRT and GO train intersecting it. So also 3.
Dundas West station, also will be interesting, if the DRL West is built and terminates at it.
You would have Streetcar, GO-RER, UPX, DRL.
Metrolinx and province will make GO announcement in Stoney Creek
The event will happen at the future site of the Centennial Parkway GO station
We have NEVER in the history of ever cleared many obstacles with transit in Toronto/area and thus it should never be attempted people!
Oh wait..
Niagara region or all day lakeshore west extension, who wants to take bets?Announcement tomorrow:
Full article here. Wasn't sure if this should go in the service thread or this one. Kind of relates to both so I picked this one.
