spire worked out perfect. i havent seen one bad picture yet. looks great with st james.

I don't like the shape of the building on that side. It looks like a completely different tower. I think it's the balconies that rub me the wrong way, combined with the wall hiding the mechanicals. I think that the building was only meant to be viewed from the angle in the photo above.

From the south east corner, it's one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, but it's lumpy and messy from the west.
 
The lower east side is one of my very favourite parts of the city as well. I almost always start here when giving the tour to friends from out of town. This is the closest we come to European style in Toronto. (mid rise buildings covering whole blocks with courtyards in their middle)

Perfect day to get some fantastic photos... great location if anyone ever wanted to try a 360' panorama
