Finch West Line 6 LRT

Yeah, I guess both are useful. An individual rider gets more from the headways statement, especially when the headways are not uniform. "Every 4-6 min" is not the same as "every 3-10 min" for the expected wait, even though both might correspond to the same average frequency.

On the other hand, a city planner is likely more interested in the number of trains per hour, to calculate the overall capacity.

So do they have to do the lidar testing and track grinding on this line as well, or is that something exclusive to the crosstown line?

I haven't had a look a the corridor in sometime and have yet to see anything that will change a fall opening of the line other than TTC training, scheduling and funding. TTC has set funding aside for fall start up with an unknow date at this time.

For the issues they had in the beginning and what was taking place, I had no hope it would open this year early in 2023 as well late 2022. Fall of 2023 change that view very quickly. Can't say that for the Crosstown line nor the Hurontario as both will be years late opening than plan.

Everything looks pretty good so far, but I already see an issue with these roll up curbs for the bike lanes, any of them in front of apartments or townhouses and cars are already stopped and blocking the entire bike lane for loading and unloading, they should put some of those collapsible bollards might help prevent that.

Also I have no idea what they are doing with the sidewalks or MUP between Weston Road and Signet/Arrow that crosses the CN rail line, in the original plans it appeared to have them on both sides of the road and new tunnels carved under the rail line, but none of that work has taken place yet and the north side of the road configuration appears to not accommodate any sidewalk or MUP.
