This could be the coolest tower ever...

Better than the London Shard.... @ the 45 BAy st site.... do a 1000 foot Canada Cup trophy tower!! Silverish black glass!!! A 2 /3 story podium....70 storys, maybe it could be 999.9 feet tall, in tributet to the great one...

If anyone could do such a render of that shape as a tower would be curious to see that!!!!, YOu could lite it at nite as well!!! It would be very iconic!!!

Hey guys... I know a few of you liked a design I posted in this thread before. I've created my own dedicated thread to showcase some of my design concepts... click the link in my signature to take a look.

Thanks guys :)

looks good, but i suggest you leave 1 parking lane on church. you can still widen the sidewalks significantly, but it will still allow for a spot for deliveries to be made to the business's lining the street.

High Park Square--one of my basic massing (and grade one level at that) concepts for what will be Daniels' HighPark Residences site at Bloor St West and Pacific. The idea is to mimic the scale of the neighbouring Victorian homes with 2.5-4s "sky homes" hung off the black zinc & glass (striped--note only the zinc is rendered here) facade. Green roof up top and in the inner courtyard above the ground level CRU. Roughly 12s is what I'm looking for at this location. v1.0 tell me what you think.

Meanwhile, some of you may remember my "Box on Bay" proposal for 955 Bay Street (Sutton Place Hotel) Just got out the colouring book...sneak peak @renderporn coming soon:

A ton more detail needs to be done but you get the idea I'm going for....

(As you can see, point towers bore me.:))

At sneak peek at the updated High Park Residences site @renderporn --this time to scale.

I'm trying to capture the spirit of High Park, its historic gothic-style apartment buildings, Victorian homes and the fact the site is on top of the hill and has a great picnic site across the street from which to see a "landmark."

^Hey thanks for discovering it! Hope you enjoy more of our fantasies...:)

Here's an idea I'm working on, v1.0 which could possibly fit in the new Alexandria Park area.

And then there's 155 King Street South Waterloo, a hideous faux classical monstrosity is planned for the site. Here's the direction I'd go:

(Nothing radical, it's Uptown Waterloo afterall. Simple box building with a cool facade.)

Another concept for the Waterloo site, this time influenced by the "Waterloo School of Modernism"--think aA, KPMB etc. NimbyTect-style means introducing colour! 12 regular lofts, 1 or 2 double (or perhaps even triple!) floor PH lofts and 2 CRU at base.

NimbyTect moves to the 905/519, suburban-stye row housing proposal under development:

(One day I'll get over my black brick with red obsession, but you get the idea I hope.... I think it would look great in Galt, Guelph, Fergus or even Montreal. What do you think?)
