That's a pretty windy corner as is. It will be interesting in 3 or 4 years to see if the winds are altered in any way once Uptown, Blu & 1BE are in place.

Try walking around CityPlace. There seems to be more wind there than Y&B.

/\ Cityplace is also much closer to the lake and is more susceptible to winds coming from that direction.

Walked by Minto Midtown at Yonge and Eg the other day. Almost got blown away. It was very unpleasant but the buildings look great.

1 BE looks twice as tall as its neighbours. This will have a huge impact on the skyline. I still maintain we need a 1,000 footer there as the first stake in Toronto's real "Midtown".
